Anushka rejects a bumper offer
Gorgeous Anushka says she is happy with what she has. Recently, Anushka was approached by Bollywood director Rohith Shetty to star in his forthcoming film, which is a remake of Tamil hit Singam (Yamudu in Telugu). Ajay Devgn is playing the lead in this film and the director wanted Anushka to pair up with him.
Anushka did the female lead in the original film and the Bollywood director was very much impressed with her looks and offered her the same role in Hindi version too. Anushka smoothly rejected that offer saying she is busy with South assignments.
Being an intelligent actress, Anushka didn’t want to be another Asin or Trisha who didn’t have a smooth career in Bollywood. Interestingly, Anushka’s close competitor Ileana signed a Bollywood film titled Barfee.
